Peschiera è una fiorente cittadina turistica, considerata una delle principali mete da visitare del Garda, dove giungono turisti da tutto il mondo.E' uno dei principali scali per tutte le rotte del lago , tanto che Navigarda ha qui il suo prestigioso cantiere navale.
La presenza di edifici militari caratterizza in modo singolare il paesaggio di Peschiera, un centro che conta circa 9000 abitanti. I grandi bastioni, la canalizzazione del Mincio, le caserme e le mura poderose serrano l'abitato in una cintura di pietra e di mattoni che si riflette nell'acqua azzurra del Garda.Il limite fra il basso lago e il fiume Mincio non è ben definito.Le grandi risorse del paese sono il turismo il commercio, favorito dalla posizione su importanti vie di traffico per l'alto lago, Verona, Mantova, Desenzano E Brescia e dalla ricca zona agricola estesa tutta intorno.

Der Hafen Peschieras ist einer der Haupanlegestelen für Yachten. Außerdem ist in diesem Ort auch die vielgeschätzte Werft „Navigarda“ zu Hause. Die Präsenz der vielen Militärgebäude ist charakteristisch für diesen Ort, der insgesamt 9000 Einwohner zählt. Die große Bastion, die Kanalisierung des Mincio, die Kaserne und eine kräftige Stadtmauer bilden zusammen einen Gürtel um die Innenstadt. Die Grenze zwischen See und Fluß ist wenig genau definiert. Große Einnahmequellen der Region sind der Tourismus sowie auch der Kommerz, welcher sich durch die günstige Lage zwischen Verona, Mantua, Desenzano und Brescia entwickeln konnte.

The village’s main resources are tourism and commerce, favored by its location on important crossroads to the Northern part of the lake, Verona, Mantua, Desenzano and Brescia and close to the rich extension of countryside all around.
