{ La parrocchiale di Maderno }

La parrocchiale di Maderno sorse nel 1825 sui resti dell'antico castello, del quale oggi non rimane che un troncone di torre, trasformato in campanile. Nella chiesa è conservata una tela della bottega di Paolo Veronese con S. Ercolano e l'Angelo e dipinti di Francesco da Bassano e di Andrea da Vicenza. Nella chiesa di S. Bartolomeo sono conservati una Sacra Famiglia di Jacopo Palma il Giovane e un paliotto in cuoio dipinto del XVII secolo.


Die Pfarrkirche von Maderno
Die Pfarrkirche von Maderno entstand 1825 auf den Ruinen des antiken Schlosses, von dem bis heute nur ein Turmstumpf überdauert hat, der in einen Glockenturm umgewandelt wurde. In der Kirche ist ein Werk aus der Bottega des Veronesers Paolo mit dem S. Ercolano und einem Engel neben Malereien von Francesco aus Bassano und Andrea aus Vicenza. Eine Altardecke mit Malereien aus dem 17. Jh. und die „Heilige Familie“ von Jacopo Palma sind in der Pfarrkirche aufbewahrt.


Maderno’s Parish Church
Maderno’s parish church was built in 1825 on the ruins of the old castle. Nothing is left from it but the section of a tower transformed into a clock tower. In the church there is painting from Paolo Veronese’s workshop depicting St Ercolano and the paintings by Francesco from Bassano and Andrea from Vicenza. In St Bartholomy’s church there are a painting of the Sacred Family by Jacopo Palma Jr and other works.
