{ Parco Natura Viva }

Facilitato da una posizione geografica particolarmente favorevole, grazie anche alla vicinanza del lago di Garda, il Parco Natura Viva è un’oasi faunistica che rappresenta uno dei più riusciti esempi di utilizzo del territorio nel pieno rispetto ambientale. Il Parco si estende su dolci colline moreniche ricoperte da boschi e dista appena 18 Km da Verona. La struttura, che si estende su una superficie di circa 400.000 mq, è suddivisa in due settori principali, visitabili anche singolarmente: il Parco Safari, da percorrere a bordo del proprio autoveicolo, come un emozionante safari nell’Africa centro-meridionale, ed il Parco Faunistico,percorribile a piedi, che comprende il Parco Dinosauri, la Serra Voliera Tropicale e l’Acquaterrarium (pesci, anfibi e rettili). Il Natura Viva ospita più di 1000 esemplari di animali di 175 differenti specie che non provengono dallo stato libero, ma sono nati nel Parco o arrivano da circhi, da comuni cittadini o enti che non potevano assicurare loro condizioni di vita troppo favorevoli. Il Parco collabora anche con il Corpo Forestale dello Stato accogliendo animali sequestrati ed è impegnato ad allevare e curare numerose specie animali rare ed in grave pericolo di estinzione nei loro luoghi di origine.

Mit seiner äußerst günstigen geografischen Lage und seiner unmittelbaren Nähe zum Gardasee ist der Parco Natura Viva eine Oase der Tierwelt. Der Park erstreckt sich entlang kleiner bewaldeter Hügel und liegt gerade mal 18 km von Verona entfernt.
Der, mit einer Gesamtfläche von ca. 400.000 m², große Park ist in zwei unterschiedliche Sektoren unterteilt, welche unabhängig voneinander besucht werden können: Der Safari-Park ist mit dem eigenen Auto zu befahren und gleicht einer aufregenden Safari in Afrika. Der Tierpark dagegen ist zu Fuß begehbar und schließt den Dinosaurierpark, das tropische Vogelhaus und das Acquaterrarium (Fische, Amphibien und Reptilien) mit ein.
Der Parco Natura Viva beherbergt mehr als 1.000 Tiere, darunter über 175 verschiedene Arten. Keines der Tiere wurde in Freiheit gefangen genommen, alle sind entweder im Park geboren, kommen aus dem Zirkus, von Privatleuten oder anderen Einrichtungen, welche den Tieren keine adäquaten Lebensumstände bieten können. Der Park arbeitet auch mit dem örtlichen Forstamt zusammen, nimmt beschlagnahmte Tiere auf und engagiert sich, vom Aussterben bedrohte Arten nachzuzüchten.

Situated in a particularly favoured spot, thanks also to nearby Lake Garda, the Parco Natura Viva is an oasis of animal life and represents one of the best examples of use of land to the advantage of and interest in the environment. The Park is situated on two moravial hills covered in woods and is only 18 km from Verona. The structure of the park, which covers about 400,000 square meters of land, is subdivided into 2 main areas which are visited one by one: The Safari Park which is visited in safari style by car along a designated route, and the Animal Park which is seen on foot and includes the Dinosaur Park, the Tropical Birds Aviary and the Aqua Terrarium (fish, amphibians and reptiles). The Wildlife Park has over 1,000 inhabitants from 175 different species which do not come from the wild but have been bred in the Park or come from Circuses, towns or places where their well-being could not be assured. The Park works with the Corpo Forestale dello Stato (Forest Rangers) to take care of captured animals and it is responsible for raising and helping numerous species of rare animals and those in grave risk of extinction in their original habitats.
